Digi Plugin Not Working Correctly

Hello Everyone,

I have been having a problem where the Digi Pycharm plugin is not working correctly. When I try to open a new Digi project or import a Digi sample, instead of the standard device list appearing, there is no devices to select, and I cannot continue through the process. If I open a previously configured project, there is no option to open the “XBee Micropython REPL Terminal” or to select a COM device, and pressing the run button generates this stack trace.

I have tried uninstalling Pycharm and reinstalling every version from the current 2023.2.2 down to 20.3.5 with no fixes. Is there anything I am missing to make it work again? It is currently working fine on another computer running Pycharm 2023.2.2.

The site you have your PyCharm configured for is not a valid Digi site. You are trying to connect to pastebin.com which is not a valid site. May I suggest checking the "Settings, Plugins and Manage Custom plugin repositories.

I have checked in Manage Plugin Repositories and I have nothing in there, all it says is “No plugin repositories configured.” I apologize if I am missing something simple, for example should there be a custom repository?

No, I don’t have anything it mine either. You may need to remove PyCharm and contact them on how to make sure it is removed from the registry as well. Then reload it from scratch.
