drp node 0 decode error message

I have an older port server installed connected to a SCO Unix 5.0.6 server. I am periodically getting error messages. Todays sample follows this message. Can anyone give me and idea of what is causing these messages?

Amy help appreciated.

Today the unix system stalled for several minutes and then proceeded normally. That was about an hour after the first set of these message. Don’t know if the two are related or not.

Thanks
Alan

That’s a known bug in the driver. If you remove the driver and upgrade, it will go away.

I just downloaded the current software and installed about 6 weeks ago. Do I need to remove it and install again?

Yes, you’d need to remove the old version of the software before installing the 3.0.3a version of Realport.

If you’re still having problems after removing the old software and installing the version mentioned above, best bet would be to call Technical Support and open a ticket.

This is due to a violation in the firmware. The firmware is sending data before the driver has indicated it can. Please be sure the latest firmware revision has been applied to your PortServer unit from the Digi web site.

After checking the firmware it looks like all portservers are running 3.1.12, now the download page for digi says thats the latest release, but if you check the release notes it says there is a 3.1.13. If someone at digi could please verify there dl page to make sure its pointing to the correct firmware version.

Oops, someone put the firmware version 3.1.13 out there, but, forgot to edit the description. The file 40001260_AF.bin is the 3.1.13 version. I’ll ask one of the web site maintainers to correct this.

Thanks
