Factory reset on ME 2910

Hello,

I need to have the possibility to do a “factory reset” on
my ME9210 (w. Linux).
I know that there`s a switch on the development board wich can do a hard reset. I want to use this switch (resp. the connected pin on the me9210) to do a factory reset with setting network to (my) default settings and reset the admin password for my website running on the 2910.

Is there any way to check after a reset, if the ME9210 has been resetted by switch / pin or if it just got powered down by a user?

Or is there any better way to do a factory reset ?

Many thanks in advance,

regards,

Micha

Is this a Plug and Play device or Linux/NETOS device?

Hello,

its a Linux device.

I found out that UBOOT recognizes that the reset switch was used. On the UBOOT boot screen there’s displayed “RESET: SRESET”.

Is there any possibility to get that info when linux is booted?
