File transfer is too slow on serial port in Release mode

Hi,
I’m sending a file with zmodem protocol on serial communication port. Its working well in Debug Mode,taking approximately 1 minute to transfer. In release mode it is taking approximately 40 minutes.I’m not getting where it is going wrong. Do I need change any settings.I’m working on Digi Connect ME environment.
Any help would be appreciated.
