My company is using this RCM3700 as our microcontroller In the event that when customer complaint that there is bug in the firmware or request for a update in firmware, they always need to send back the products back for firmware update.
Is there any way that Rabbit module can do a firmware update through rabbitweb or serial com without given them the source code.?
I have implemented the Serial bootloader from SHDesigns with success. They also offer an ethernet bootloader though they are not free, but not too expensive either.
Alternatively if your client can plug in a rabbit programming cable, he can use the rabbit field utility to reflash the devices. You have to supply him the binary then, not the source code.
