Hello,

I wanted to write simple code for Sending/Reading API frames to/from the serial port of the Freescale Microcontroller that is present in Programmable XBee Pro ZB S2B Module.

Please help me the information about the APIs those are useful to me for this task.

The sample Chat program does exactly what you want. You can find it in the XBee SDK for the programmable modules.
