Can I change the firmware to make the SE version compatable with herokapp cloud ?

You would need to start by updating the firmware on the X2 and the XBee module in the X2 to the Non Smart Energy Code. Then you would need to remove all of the python files that are on it and compile and install the XBGW_main python script.
