how to change the configuring of the Xbee module using python (AT commands )

Hello ,
I am using Connectport X2 gatway .
I want to change the configurations of the Xbee module inside the Gateway using python Scripts .
How can I achieve this .
Please help .

Digi provides a “zigbee” Python module that includes support for setting/reading AT commands.
