How to give User definable IP

Hi all,
We are working on Rabbit4000 microprocessor which is used in our application.Our application is Lighting Controller.Let me explain my project overview first.Its basically a Light controller in which light intensity of 32 segments LED will be controlled through host.Here Rabbit4000 processor is used has server and host(PC) will be client.Customized GUI is developed for our application which is used to give various commands such as Intensity,Pulse width and IP address and Port number.Communication from PC(host) to Rabbit Processor(Server) is done through 10 Base-T Ethernet.We are at the end of development stage and we are getting the expected output .But there is one requirement from our customers in which they need IP adress to be given my User .Now we have hardcoded the IP in server program so that communication will get established Once we select the IP through GUI.But according to our customer requirement they dont need IP to be hardcoded and he must be flexible to give whatever IP they need to set.If we hardcode the IP address then we need to select those IP address only which leads to difficulty to our customer if that IP already in use.

Our Board has 512K Flash and 512K SRAM .No serial port is used.Only Ethernet is used for outside communication.

So Plz give me some solution how to do this.
Waiting for your replies.Its very urgently needed as we are at the end of project deadline Plz help us regarding this.

If you have not found the solution yet, I have an application to do the same with a rabbit 2000. You can create a form to access with username and password and create an IP, netmask and gateway field. Save the info in user data. This function should take care of changing IP address. be sure to call sock_init(); in the proper place.
