Can anyone suggest a PLC or device that can be used with Digi One SP (or similar) to write (send) a “message” indicating the closure of a dry contact? I have an application that needs to be able to detect dry contact switch closures at various remote locations on a LAN, indicating the closure of a switch by writing a message to an IP address. Either the content of the message or the P address of the remote Digi One needs to identify the source location of the message.
I use a Digi transport wr44 and the siemens s71200 plc
