I organised a mesh network with 40 routers and a coordinator (XBee Pro s2b modules). During failure of some router, the other routers which are associated with the failed router are also lost communication with the coordinator. Let me know how self healing works with xbee pro s2b module and how to implement it?
Digi-mesh and ZigBee modules has self healing capability, which means, any node may enter or leave the network at any time without causing the network as a whole
to fail.
This feature is inbuilt in the modules.
