Linux, Digi Neo and device files

Hello All!

Please help me to solve problem - after compiling and
loading driver (“./rc.cpci load”) kernel warning
appeared :
“loading cpci.o will taint the kernel: no license”
and script createdevs NOT create device files.
I’m using a Digi Neo 4 ports, OS Linux Red Hat AS 2.1

Any help would be appreciated.
Regards, Nika.

Hello Nika:

Please try the newer Digi Neo driver supported in Red Hat AS 2.1:

ftp://ftp1.digi.com/support/drivers/40002369_a.src.rpm

To install:

rpmbuild --rebuild --define DISTRO=REDHAT_AS_21 40002369_a.src.rom

rpm -ivv /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/dgnc-1.#-#.i386.rpm

/etc/init.d/dgnc start

Sorry, but:

ISA Server: extended error message :
200 Type set to I
200 PORT command successful
550 /support/drivers/40002369_a.src.rpm: No such file or directory

Link is dead?

Sorry typo:

THANKS!!! You are GREAT!!!
