Looking for Linux drivers for Edgeport/8 and Edgeport/416

Both products were working just fine with Linux 2.6 kernel, but when I purchased additional products (also Edgeport/8 and Edgeport/416) the Linux drivers no longer work for the updated hardware. Where can I find new Linux drivers for the latest products?

Chris,

Please provide the 5000XXXX part numbers on the bottom of both of your Edgeports and the exact kernel version you are trying to use them with.

Mike,

The original Edgeport/8 is P/N 50001231-01. The new one is P/N 50001314-01.

Hello Mike,

I got the quite the same issue. My linux box is running Fedora Core 3 with kernel 2.6.10. I already have an edgeport /8 connected to it and all works fine. I recently purchased an Edgeport/8r and connected it to the same box, but no chance to get it working. It’s P/N is 50001271-04. Any help will be appreciated.

Does the system status light do anything when you plug it into the system? If so, what exactly?
