Good afternoon I’m new here in the forum. I would like to help to set up a test in college where I study in Brasilia, Brazil. Goal is to make my thesis with the theme: Remote access via Internet to control a residence via ZigBee protocol.

I don’t have any idea what that other stuff is, but the 2 XBee ZigBee devices can be used to send serial commands, some digital IO and some analog information to control remote devices. Digi has devices called “Gateways” which allow you to control these remote zigBee devices through an Ethernet connection. The iDigi starter kit would be a good place to start. Using iDigi and a gateway, you can control devices remotely over the internet.
