My coordinator xbee has problems when sending data to a router xbee

I have two xbee s2c pro, one as coordinator the other as router, when I send data every 100ms with and infinite loop from the router to the coordinator, everything goes fine but when doing the same from the coordinator to the router, data gets lost, I have to place a 5000ms delay to recieve the data properly, something that is inefficient. Why this happens thank you in advance.

Check to make sure you are really operating as a router. If your router is actually an end device (and sleeping) that could definitely explain why it might not be working as expecting.

The first thing is to check the SM parameter on the router, also that the xbee firmware is Zigbee AT Router. Regards

what do you mean with the SM parameter, what must be the value for it,the firmware is the latest of the digi software, it was installed automatically

In the xctu, in the Update firmware button, check that it is correct.
Try to set the SM parameter to 0 so that this module never sleeps.
