New sleep modes in updateed firmware

I recently upgraded my Connectport X2 to E1 firmware with version F POST and I’ve noticed an increase in the types of sleep modes. The original (0-5) is now (0-8). What are the 3 new sleep modes?

Which version of firmware is running on the embedded XBee module, and which Sleep value are you referring to?

I’ve checked both 10C8 and 10E2 802.15.4 firmwares, and both of them list only 7 values for SM, 2 of which are basically N/A:

0 - No sleep
1 - Pin Hibernate
2 - Pin Doze
3 - Reserved
4 - Cyclic Sleep Remote
5 - Cyclic Sleep Remote w/Pin Wakeup
6 - Sleep Coordinator (special value, NA in this case)

82001596_E1.bin is my current firmware.

I’ve found out the reason 0-8 is listed is that there’s two new sleep modes added for DigiMesh support.

On an 802.15.4 CP-X2, setting this field to 7 or 8 should error, since the values aren’t supported on an 802.15.4 rf module, whereas on a DigiMesh CP-X2, the values would be settable.

Interesting. Thank you.
