we are only getting on way communicatin when using a null modem cable:
he tested with Hyper terminal >> we could send out info, but the Digi board doesn’t recive,
is there any configuration , or special cabling has to be used??
we are using Digi Neo PCI serial with 8 port fan out (25pin male)
i’m really deceprate for this ,

Yes, a null modem cable (also known as crossover) would need to be used between a laptop or something running Hyperterminal and a Digi port, since both are DTE devices.
If the null modem cable you used didn’t give you the desired output, the next thing to try would be doing a loopback test on the port.
