Port Assist For XP

I cant get port assist to install on xp sp2. Get the invalid os version. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Also. How do you send a hard reset to the modem using a script, is this possible under xp and if so, how do you run it.

Engineering tells me that the modem reset used by Portassist Manager (PAM) cannot be performed via a script or command outside of PAM.
