I’m using Rabbit 2000 modules in combination with Allied Telesyn AT-MC13 media converters. The media converters take the Cat-5 Ethernet off the Rabbit and convert it to 10B-F (fiber-optic), which then goes off to talk to other equipment.
I’m having trouble with some of the media converters, and Allied Telesyn suggested I fix the data rate (to 10 Mb/s) and duplexing (either Full or Half) on both sides of the media converter. Is there some way to fix the data rate and duplexing on the R2000 Ethernet port, rather than having it auto-negotiate?
