Remote Reboot using rsh

Hi,

Hardware : PortServer II
: Sco Unixware 7.1x

I am trying to execute a remote reboot, from a script using rsh -l username hostname command

However I get “illegal port” back from my portserver.

Anyone any ideas. ?

Are you sure this error is coming from the Portserver II and not your script? I guess the best way to find out would be to execute the commands you’re trying to put in your script manually. If they work manually, its a problem with the script itself.
