Reset password on AnywhereUSB/5 MHC???

Hello,

I must have made a typo when I configured my AnywhereUSB. It will not take the password I thought I gave it.

How is it possible to reset the box? Is it possible? Please help :slight_smile:

I followed a thread with the same issue, but I couldn’t access the FTP :frowning:

Using the Front Panel Reset Button
If the AnywhereUSB cannot be accessed from the Web interface, the configuration can be restored to factory defaults using the Reset button.

  1. Power off the AnywhereUSB by unplugging the power.
  2. Press the Reset button on the front of the unit.
  3. While holding the Reset button, power up the unit.
  4. Hold the Reset button for 20 seconds and then release it.

Once the admin password is lost you have to do hard reset of the device to factory default.
