RSSI value

Hello,

I am trying to read the RSSI value from my XBEE-PRO 868 modul using the ATDB command. The problem is I don’t get any value above -59dBm.

So even if the antennas are in close proximity with full transmission power the resulting value is -59dBm.
Has someone else every experienced this behavior or has a solution for me?

EDIT: I have seen that the XBEE 900 modules have a similar problem, where only the last 25% of the RSSI range can be detected. Is this also true for the 868 MHz moduls?

I have contacted Digi and for the 868Mhz modules only the last 20% of the distance are useful.
