Software load/configuration in production

We’re starting to use sufficient ME and ME 9210 that the manual process we started with is becoming very time consuming. I wondered what other users did to get their software and initial configuration into a batch of MEs.

We’re not doing anything very special - setting up the options in the standard Digi startup dialog, loading image.bin and rom.bin, then setting up various options in our own software (all held in the filesystem, so we could just FTP in a standard set of files). Using Net+/OS

Have you tried using the “Update Flash Utility” under DigiESP. This utility doesn’t use ftp, you just need to have a jtag connected to your device and it downloads both rom.bin and image.bin simultaneously when you hit Start. If you do not have a jtag this will not be an option.
