SSL on ConnectME -S module

Using a ConnectME with the default firmware, I want to make a connection to an HTTPS server. I can set the module to connect on DCD or on a start string, and set the service to Secure Sockets, and set the port to 443. From here, I should now be able to send an HTTP POST command to a server and get a response. However, this doesn’t work. Using WireShark to sniff the network, I can see that the Digi generates an internal error during the SLL connection process.

I know from using the -C modules that I must generate a certificate before I can use SSL. Could it be that the -S module doesn’t do this, and this is the cause of the internal error? Is there something I can do to trigger that? Anyone else ever seen this issue?

TIA,
Jeff.
