Support for 2.6.15+ kernels

I have a AccelePort Xem, PCI 114f:0004 (rev 01)) card and I wonder if it will support the new 2.6.15.2 kernel which is used in FC5 now.

There are lots of changes to tty_flip buffer and other stuff lately, and I can’t compile it. Has anyone succeeded to patch the source to make it compile under the latest kernels?

You’ll need a special beta driver for this. Please call or e-mail technical support with this request. The driver you’ll need is dgap ver. 1.3-3.

You’ll also need to use a special define during the rpmbuild part of the install:

rpmbuild --rebuild --define NEW_TTY_BUFFERING=Yes ./dgap-1.3-3.src.rpm
