unable to update firmware DigiOne SP

Hi,
I’m trying to update firmware on many SP.

Thoses on POST release_82001178_G were on firmware 82000774_U 11/09/2007.
post 1178? ok, no need to update POST > update firmware with 774_V2: works fine, now on Version 82000774_V2 01/29/2013

Thoses on POST release_82001178_C were on firmware Version 82000774_G 07/06/2005
post 1178? ok, no need to update POST > update firmware with 774_V2:
the ‘Updating Firmware in Progress…’ window appears, and later asking for user and password again: ‘Unable to Upgrade Firmware: No Connection Info’ message.

using winXP and IE8, win2003 and IE6.

What’s wrong?

did you try factory defaulting it before the upgrade?

Hi,
Not yet tested for a ‘reset as factory default’.
I have to unmount it: it will also reset IP setup …
and this unit is a few hundreds kms from office … of course …

I am having the same issue with the Digi One SP running Version 82000774_G. Restoring factory default settings did not help.

Update (2014/12/18):

I have tried installing the latest firmware using this procedure: http://www.digi.com/support/kbase/kbaseresultdetl?id=893. When selecting option 3 to “Erase the OS from flash” I get the error: “Erase 57 sectors starting with sector 10 … failed.”
