What are the COM1 pins we need on DB-9 to make a good connection with the modem for PPP modem access?
For the PPP in addition to the standard HW handshake requirements, the signals of Tx, Rx, CTS and RTS, you also need the DCD signal to check the modem connection one to disconnect. [Edited by: netforumsadmin on Sep 25, 2003 7:41 AM]
Besides the DCD line, the DTR line is needed to disconnect the modem and hangup the phone line.
