Vista Problems

I had my arm twisted with much loathing to have to purchase our new laptop with the dreaded Vista garbage system on it. My fears were confirmed when I went to install the XCite and X-CTU software on the new computer and Vista instantly said the software was not instlling correctly.

Question, is there a version of the software that will work on Vista…or have I just wasted $400 on the Xbee development kit since Vista has hosed us all with its stupidity.

My apologies for my attitude…I just really hate Microsoft.

Hi,

I use Vista Ultimate on my mobile workstation, and X-CTU, it works without any special configuration.

I haven’t use XCite yet, but just reporting.

XCTU and the USB drivers all works fine for me on Vista and Windows 7.
