What is the difference between the XBP9B-XCST-002 and XBP9B-XCST-001

Can anyone say what the difference between the

XBP9B-XCST-001: XBee-PRO XSC S3B 9600bps

And

XBP9B-XCST-002: XBee-PRO XSC S3B 19.2 Kbps

Are? Other then the data rate? Does one get better range? If they are both exactly the same, why would anyone take the unit that transmits less data for the same price?

Different firmware and RF data rate. As for range, the 9600 version will have an increase in range.
