Why does the old XCTU software see my xbee but the new does not ?

Hi,

I have 2 x xbee 24B-ZB radios and when I connect to the old xctu software it reads the radios no messing, however I have tried several times with the same settings on the new software same pc but it says it can’t find any radios, any help appreciated

What board do you have the modules mounted on?

Hi,

I have them mounted on some usb boards that I got from ebay, I suspected this so I am taking delivery of an Adafruit one to try in the next couple of days…
