Why would a tcp socket connection remain after host has diconnected?

After host makes initial connection to tcp port and releases, it cannot make another connection because the TS4 shows it as being active. Why won’t it drop in the PortServer?

I guess no one has experienced this and i eventually figured it out. Apparently, it’s required to reboot the device after changing the flow control setting on a port. I guess I was under the assumption that the Digi would prompt that a reboot is required. Looks like the best option is to ALWAYS reboot after ANY change just to be sure.
