Will 3 wires, 3.3v, gnd, and tx be sufficient for Ublox Lea 6 to pass NMEA sentences to xbee 900 Pro?

Yes, all the XBee modules need to pass data in one direction is VCC, GND and Data in one one side and Data out on the other.
