Can I connect GPS module directly to Xbee Pro 900 HP and use it in a mesh network with other xbees connected with gps ?

I am trying to program Xbee in a way that they can transmit gps data to co-ordinator without any micro-controllers connected to them.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Sure as long as your GPS has a UART and is 3V. Otherwise you will need to use a level shifting device between the two.
