I’m using the Digi TransPort WR11 XT with latest firmware. Main purpose is to place the device in bridge mode (aka IP Passthrough) and use a Cisco router behind it.
When I’m using the normal mode with NAT I can set a default route in my Cisco to the WR11 Xt and am able to use internet on the Cisco. However I want to bridge the Digi TransPort so it is transparant to the Cisco router.
In this mode I do receive the 4g mobile WAN IP address on my outside interface from the Digi TransPort but internet is not working. I’m using a default route on the cisco e.g.
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.9.8.1
In this example the WAN IP is 10.9.8.20 - I know you have to set .1 as default gateway.
I can ping the default gateway as well.
Any suggestions?
