WR44 temperature[SOLVED]

Hi All:

I have an older WR44 and the temperature data is as follows:
ss351205>kycspare
ss351205>kycsparetemp
mb: 52’C
mo: 78’C
OK

This unit is in an airconditioned equipment room and the modem module is very hot.
Here is a brand new WR21 that is outside in an equipment enclosure:
CORS5>temp
core: 76’C
mo: 61’C
OK

Why the massive difference in the cellular module temperature?
Is there anyway to reduce that module temperature with settings?

Hi All:

This issue was caused by a failing GPRS module.
We’ve replaced the module, run the flash update the unit is like brand new now.

All good.
