XB3-24 - XBee3 - How to load 802.15.4? No Firmware Option

Hi, i just purchased XB3-24 XBee3 chips. I read in the documentation that I can do the following:

“Change the firmware protocol You can switch the firmware loaded onto the XBee3 hardware to run either of the following protocols:”
Zigbee
802.15.4

The issue is that when I go into XCTU and click on Update, the only option for firmware update is XB3-24 / Digi XBee3 Zigbee 3.0 TH / 10003 (Newest). I cannot figure out how to switch to 802.15.4.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I too have XB3-24 modules on my XCTU (6.4.0), and the following options are available:
Digi XBee3 802.15.4
Digi XBee3 DigiMesh 2.4
Digi XBee3 Zigbee 3.0

Check your version of XCTU perhaps?

The XBee 3 TH 802.15.4 and Digi mesh firmware versions have yet to be released.

Is there a timeline or commitment for through-hole variants of XB3-24 firmware? I’d like to use my XB3-24 TH chips with DigiMesh or 802.15.4, but as of now it looks like I’m stuck with ZigBee or getting older XBee TH chips.
