Xbee PRO 868 line-passing how-to?

Hello,

it seems a simple line-passing is not a possibility on the xbee pro 868.

Then, what is the easiest way to transmit a digital input on one xbee to a digital output on the other xbee?

As far as I know, you will need an external PIC or Micro. I can’t think of any trick to do it otherwise.
