I have two XBee PRO S2B with firmware 28A0!
I set one of them as a coordinator. It seems all things for the coordinator is OK. AI command is 0x00. and the channel is B.
for the coordinator, the setting is as follows:
ID = 0
SC = 7FFF
NJ = ff
operation ID = D8E8.
on the other hand, i set the other one as a router. i set ID =0 & SC = 7FFF but after resetting the router, the AI command is 21!
I do not know why the router can not find the coordinator. I really confusing!!!

I change the router firmware to ZIGBEE ROUTER/END DEVICE DIGITAL IO!
now the network is on and the second module connects to the coordinator!
But i can not connect to zigbee router/end device digital IO by serial port!!!
Even though, i can not change the firmware of the second module!!!
I DO NOT KNOW WHY THERE IS NO A CLEAR DOCUMENT FOR THIS MODULE!!!

Set Your router’s configuration as JV=1, and retry power cycle.

Oh… You had to use only Router function set. Not Router/End Device DIO. In this firmware UART is used for different use. So, Serial Communication is disabled. Only Over the air parameter change is possible.
Hi, I am currently testing my jennic modules for range in a factory environment. The test is to first have an end device placed at a location and to move with the coordinator till it loses range and at that point where range is still available I place a router and move further. What I find is when I place the router and the coordinator is out of range from the end device, the end device doesn’t get routed through the router instead the coordinator reports loss of frames. Any suggestions on how to get over this?
