Due to wireless cranes in the shop I set both AP & SU to manual channel 9. After that RF communication began to be sketchy I began to play around with the admin settings I switched the AP & SU in the configuration but nothing helps. Am I missing something concerning setup. Connected subscribers shows 0 on both radios. Any help will be appreciated.

The number of subscribers is how many have yet to be issued. You were connected so you would have 1 subscriber.
You are most likely having issues due to antenna placement and reflections from the metal. Try moving the antennas so they are away from the metal.
Since the SU is on a rail bound piece of equipment and only moves forward and reverse approximately 300ft from the AP I think a set of Yagi antenna’s would maximize my connection. What do you think?
