AnywhereUSB/14 Periodic Device Failure

We have an Anywhere USB/14 device running FW 1.83.17.33. We have been having a lot of USB key attachment failures and now the unit seems to be rebooting.

I did a “show panic”

What is very interesting is that the web gui states the uptime is: 1 day 2 hours 20 minutes 50 seconds, but the two show panic commands are stating uptime as: 29 days 23 hours 46 minutes 2 seconds.

Which one to believe?

Any ideas on what to do to fix this problem? Client connected to the AWUSB/14 device are running Server 2003, 2003 R2, 2008, 2008 R2 and all seem to get disconnected regularly but not at the same time.

Hello,

My initial observation is that the firmware version (1.83.17.33) is older, so updating it would be my initial recommendation. If you see any “panic records” after running the latest AWUSB firmware, Digi would be interested in having them.
