I’ve got ANywhereUSB 14 port hub. On one of the ports, I’ve got a license dongle which is mapped to one of the applications on a virtual machine. The software is able to pick license when connected to the console of the virtual machines. However, as soon as I RDP to the client, the license dongle gets unrecognised.
I have tried to enable “RemoteFX USB redirection on the clients”. However, this has not worked
Windows RDP has some permission issues and might not allow to access local devices (and the remote USB devices appear local on the VM server you are connecting with RDP).
Check Windows forums for RDP permission issues.
