We are using a AnywhereUSB/2 and we connected a SafeNet eToken E51XX USB Token, don’t know the exact version, it’s 5100/5105 I believe.
Platform is Hyper-V, all VM’s are running Windows Server 2012 R2.
On a virtual server we have installed the AnywhereUSB/2 software and created a connection to the AnywhereUSB/2 device in the network.
Windows shows the USB icon on the server and shows ‘SafeNet JC Token’, so the USB token is visible inside Windows.
We need to use the SafeNet Authentication Client software on SERVER1 so that the SafeNet Authentication Client shows the USB token, after that we need to install a certificate on the token, the certificate will be used for digital signing of documents.
We have installed SafeNet Authentication Client, but it doesn’t show the USB token in the SafeNet Authentication Client software. Also after installing the SafeNet Authentication Client software, the USB token is not visible anymore in the lower right corner. Device Manager then also shows a yellow triangle that there is a problem with the SafeNet Token JC device.
We also installed the Minikit driver for SafeNet, didn’t make a difference.
I’v have tested on three different servers, rebooted and none of them shows the USB token after installing the SafeNet Authentication client software.
Anyone who can tell me how we can solve this?
