AnywhereUSB not being detected on a different subnet

Hi,
I have connected AnywhereUSB to network 10.4.0.x and I installed the drivers on PC with IP 10.1.223.x.

But my PC is not detecting the device, it’s pinging though. If I connect the device also to the same subnet at the PC, it detects.

I am not sure if the ADDP protocol is enabled, but what I need to know is that will this device work from a different subnet. Because as I know about ADDP protocol, it uses multicast IP with TTL = 1.

So, if let’s say ADDP is enabled and the device is connected to 10.4.0.x subnet, will the PC on subnet 10.1.223.x detect this device or not??

Thanks,

Yes, you can devices in the different subnet to AUSB/5M
All you need to do is enter the IP address in the discovery list. This displays a list of subnet addresses of remote networks or IP Addresses of individual units where the configuration utility will search for AnywhereUSB units.
