AW02-G300 connection gateway

I have a USB motor controller in the factory and I want to connect to it remotely from my office with the AW02-G300

The module works fine in my office but not in the factory because in my office I have 192.168.57.X and in the factory it’s a 192.168.44.X. I have a gateway between the two. I can communicate from my office with everything that is 192.168.44.x except your AW02-G300 module.

Using the web interface, I set a static IP address of 192.168.44.x and the gateway to 192.168.44.1.

Do you have any idea what configuration I should use ?

Thank you

What is the Network mask on both the AW02 and on other devices in the same network?

What is the Network mask of your PC?

What is the default gateway address on other devices in the same network as the AW02?

My PC is :

192.168.57.151

255.255.0.0

Gateway 192.168.57.1

Don’t work AW02:

192.168.44.51

255.255.0.0

Gateway 192.168.44.1

Another device that works:

192.168.44.37

255.255.0.0

Gateway 192.168.44.1

I think there’s something wrong with my configuration, but I can’t figure out what it is.

Thanks for you support

are you sure about your netmask 255.255.0.0? Maybe this should be 255.255.255.0 ?
Where in the AW02-G300 did you configure the network address? Is it static 192.168.44.51/16 or DHCP?

I would check the “zone” settings under Network > ETH > IPv4

use the AI assistant on: Digi AnywhereUSB 2 Plus
and the user guide: AnywhereUSB® Plus User Guide

check the system log of the AW02-G300 if it is receiving your packages and maybe “DROP”ping them due to firewall?

I reset the AW02 to factory settings.

In the end, you were right, the other components that are working are on 255.255.255.0, so I set the AW02 to 192.168.44.51/24.

I went to install it on the line and now I can ping it OK and open the web page with the address 192.168.44.51, but I still have the most important thing left to do. I can’t see it in the Anywhere Manager.

There is my system log

(Attachment awusbmanager_support.bin is missing)

There is my log file

(Attachment log file.zip is missing)

There is my log file

you can’t see it in the AnywhereUSB Manager, because client and AnywhereUSB Plus hub are in different subnets and the “autofind” feature is based on Bonjour broadcasts in the local network.
For USB hubs in different subnets, add the IP or hostname of the AnywhereUSP Plus hub in the AnywhereUSB Manager under “Known hosts”
see user guide:

They all work !!!

You don’t have to wait for the AW02 to appear in Anywhere Manager, you have to add it manually.

Thanks, everyone.
