New installation of AWUSB/5 in virtual windows 2003 server. Drivers 3.10.30.0 for server installed. Awusbcfg crashes with application error: Faulting application AwUsbCfg.exe, version 3.10.20.0, faulting module AwUsbCfg.exe, version 3.10.20.0, fault address 0x00031451. Using Awusbcfg 1.90.1.0 seems to work OK.

Look at the label on the bottom of the AnywhereUSB/5 hardware. Does it say “AnywhereUSB 1.80”?
Yes, it´s AnywhereUSB 1.80.
You’re running into a known issue where, for some reason, the AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility crashes when there are one or more "AnywhereUSB 1.80’ units on the network. At least, that’s our best guess as to the cause of the issue, from the information we’ve collected from other customers reporting the same symptom.
If you could give us the 50xxxxxx part number and revision of your AnywhereUSB 1.80 unit(s) as well as their friendly name, network configuration, and any other information, such as the Operating System of the PC in question, and even information about the network, such as the Ethernet switch make/model, that would be helpful for our records related to this issue.
Unfortunately, we have never been able to replicate that issue, so there’s no fix.
Using an older version of the config util is one workaround, as you’ve discovered.
Besides that, you are welcome to try out the beta versions of the console (“command-line”) config util.
