I’m about to replace my current WR44 since it is already faulty. However after I restored the configuration from the faulty router to the new one, I cannot able to login to web interface and seems the configuration is not loaded effectively even it successfully loaded back. I also tried to update the firmware so they will have the same firmware but still the issue persist. Can someone help me on this? Thanks in advance

Here are couple of things you can try
Connect to the serial port on a wr44
user 0 name username
user 0 password password
config 0 save
Or disable encryption on “golden” unit
make a configuration with encryption disabled use new config file
