Cannot log in to Digi Wr54

Hello. I purchased a used WR54 to install in a vehicle. The subnet on it seems to be 192.168.0.0/24 even though I see everywhere referenced that it is supposed to be accessible at 192.168.1.1. In any case, I can access it at 192.168.0.1. I never was shown any initial wizard for setup. I was shown the username password login screen. I tried the admin and password from the sticker on the bottom but it does not work. I have tried factory reset and still the same. I even did the recovery image through TFTP but it still will not work.

Any ideas?

My last resort will be to try via serial after I get a cable tomorrow. Please help.

Were you able to determine a fix? I have the exact same problem with no serial communication. I believe its due to a custom boot image but cant confirm.

“Used” devices like this may have custom factory settings which were created by the previous owner, and these custom factory settings may have special usernames and passwords. For this reason, be cautious when purchasing used devices.
