Can't read or write Xbee

Hi there, I have an Xbee that I’m using for peer to peer communication. However, I’m unable to read or write to the device.

I’ve tried to use http://todigi.blogspot.com/2010/05/xbee-obituaries-xbee-returns-from-grave.html however on the second prompt it will not go. I get past the first one and it looks like it’s going to work however it won’t. I’m using a breadboard wire and ground with RST to reform the reset.

Any ideas?

Make sure that you have DTR and RTS connected. If they are, than it may be time to order a new module.
