Communicating between 2.5 modules attached to different PCs

I am trying to communicate between 2 xbee pro 50mw 2.5 rpsma modules, each one is attached to a different computer, using rs232 adapter board from sparkfun: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=9111
the CTU software is detecting the modules,
I am trying to send commands to each other from hyper terminal or the CTU terminal but no success…

What do you mean by sending commands to each other? Do you mean send the command to XBee 1 so the command executes on XBee 2? What firmware is loaded on these two XBee modules?
