I am using ConnectPort X3, the device seems to work well (LED glow) also the network signal on the device panel is with full strength.
I am trying to trace the device on “iDigi Connectivity Server”
but I am unable to trace the device on the server.
- I have done all the settiongs as mentioned in the User Guide which I received along with CD
- The SIM is used before so it is activated already
Can anyone help me do this ? or point to some documentation which explains me that?
I’ll try to give some ideas…

Have you verified the ConnecPort X3 is receiving an IP Address? The main page of the Dashboard (Device Information) will display it at bottom.
>> Yes, there is IP getting displayed on the “Device Information” Tab.
Are the Remote Management options configured? Remember the Server Address is developer.idigi.com
>> Yes, this is configured correctly.
How did you register the ConnectPort X3 in your iDigi account? For a CPX3 you should use the IMEI.
>> Yes, I used the IMEI to register.
The iDigi still cannot identify the device. It always shows disconnected.
I have used iDigi with several X3 - but mine normally ‘sleep’ so are almost always offline.
One thing I have seen: you DO need to power cycle the X3 after you add it to iDigi. So enable iDigi in X3, manually add to iDigi, then power cycle the X3. That has been the only way I can get an X3 to show up under iDigi. (This might have been fixed - my firmware is from August 2010.)
For the IMEI I have always cut-n-pasted that from the X3 dash-board, which should add enough zeros etc. I don’t know if having too few zeros might cause it to not match in iDigi.
Do you have the latest X3 firmware - or that the unit is less than 1 month old? There were some very early issues with now the X3 formed the ‘device id’ in such a way to differentiate it from the Ethernet MAC. But this was fixed months ago.
